US-based software developer Insight Software Solutions comes up with “high quality, user friendly software products for Windows” that are used by home users, small business, large corporations and government entities. Here at FindMySoft we are no strangers to the applications developed by Insight Software Solutions because we’ve reviewed several of them.

We’ve covered ShortKeys, an application that will save you time if you do a lot of repetitive typing; Zip Express, an application that allows you to search by zip code, city, county, state or area code; and Capture Express, an application that allows you to easily capture what is being displayed in your screen.

And we’ve covered Crossword Construction Kit, an utility that allows you to create customized crossword puzzles. Word Search Construction Kit, the application we’re going to cover today, has a lot in common with Crossword Construction Kit. For example both applications weigh in at some 6MB – which means it will not take too long to for the download to complete.

Both applications, once downloaded, can be installed on pretty much any version of the Microsoft-developed. And both applications can be used free of charge only during the 30-day trial period.

As Insight Software Solutions explained, Crossword Construction Kit is meant for educators, students, publishers, corporate trainers and puzzle enthusiasts – and so is Word Search Construction Kit. The difference is that Crossword Construction Kit will allow the user to easily create crossword puzzles while Word Search Construction Kit will allow the user to easily create word search puzzles. All the user has to do is enter the words and the clues, then select a puzzle shape and page layout, and press a button - Word Search Construction Kit will take care of the rest.

Word Search Construction Kit comes with a built-in spell checker that provides support for 8 different languages. You can create puzzles in more than 50 different shapes. You can export the puzzles you come up with Word Search Construction Kit as a graphic image, as a ready to use webpage, or as Java.
